Cyber Research Group is currently seeking a Senior Windows Systems Administrator to provide system administration to high priority infrastructure/systems, servers, clusters, and workstations running a variety of operating systems/applications to include Windows XP and/or Windows 7 and Solaris.

Job Description:

* Work will include development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting efforts.
* Perform administration and maintenance of infrastructure/ systems/desktops.
* Perform planning, coordination, and execution of operating system installations and upgrades, patches, and service pack releases.
* Install and configure systems, servers, workstations and peripherals.
* Respond to all system administration related work requests, including working with system maintainers, system engineering analysis, and integration efforts.
* Maintain and update standards documentation.

Required Skills and Certifications:
* One server certification required; MCSE/MCSA/MCITP:EA/RHCSA/RHCE/Server+ etc.
* Security+ CE required
* Installation and administration experience of Windows XP and/or Windows 7 operating systems.
* Working knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7 Registry operations.
* Must have account creation and maintenance (user and group) experience.
* Installation and administration experience of Solaris operating systems.
* Three to five years of professional hands-on experience troubleshooting/debugging applications.
* Understanding of networking concepts such as routing, protocols and firewalls.
* Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
* Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
* Must be a team player that is willing to provide support to a variety of tasks and to support unplanned high priority customer activities.
* Must be available to work occasional overtime as required.
* Must possess strong customer service and team skills, proven customer interaction and customer support experience.

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Experience installing and maintaining VMware ESX/ESXi Cluster
* Experience maintaining NetApp Storage Solutions
* Experience administering LDAP
* Domain controller experience
* Active Directory-Building UNIX, Solaris Sun Cluster NFT AP Storage

Education:
* The position requires a BS Degree and minimum 8 years experience or 10 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
